Founded on the slopes of the Cascade Mountains, CascadiaKits is a small family business run by a husband-and-wife team. Their love of the outdoors, preparedness, and design led them to start building kits that were easy to pack, cleverly designed and built, reliable, and fun to use.

They began sharing kits, and teaching responsible firecraft skills to people young and old. Practicing outdoor skills that build self-reliance is a perfect antidote to the modern age of screens and buttons, and can prove to be lifesaving in an emergency. And teaching a kid to make a fire using a ferro rod is like teaching them a magic trick.
